Submission Process

  • Abstracts must be submitted online through the official ASSM 2026 website.
  • To submit an abstract, you are required to create an account to access the portal.
  • Please review the submission guidelines carefully and ensure your abstract is well-organized and complete before submission.

Submission Guidelines

Please ensure your abstract includes the following:

  • Structure must follow: Title; Authors and institutions; Introduction; Methods; Results; Conclusion; Support (if any).
  • The abstract must be typed in English. Title should be no more than 30 words; abstracts limited to 500 words.
  • One delegate may present only one oral or poster as first author (presenter).

Submissions are welcomed across all areas of sleep medicine and research. Please select the most relevant topic category during submission.

Important Notes

  • The committee will review all submissions and may accept or reject any submission.
  • A confirmation letter will be automatically sent to the submitter and the presenting author by e-mail upon online submission.
  • The acceptance of abstracts will be notified by e-mail to the submitter.
  • Presenting Authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for ASSM 2026 with full payment.
  • Oral presentation: 8-minutes presentation + 2-minutes discussion.
  • Poster presentation: Please bring a printed poster for display.

Poster Guidelines

  • Posters should not exceed 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height) to ensure optimal readability.
  • Each poster must have a top label indicating the title, names of authors, and their affiliations.
  • The title font should be large enough to be viewed at a distance of 2 meters (6 feet).
  • Materials will be provided to affix posters to display boards. Other adhesive methods may be accepted if brought by the author.
  • Charts, drawings, and illustrations may be used within the poster.
  • The physical poster must be provided by the author(s).
  • Posters should be printed on paper or laminated paper. Do not use heavy cardboard or other heavy materials for mounting.
  • "Introduction" and "Conclusion" sections are preferred. Use graphs for qualitative relationships and tables for precise numerical values. Photographs should be on non-glossy matte finish paper.
  • Do not mail poster presentations to the convention centre.
  • The cost of printing the poster is the responsibility of the author(s).
  • Oral abstract presentations may not be repeated with a poster presentation.
